| Description: Joe DiMaggio New York Yankees Hall of Fame plaque. Fine presentational plaque given to Joe DiMaggio as a member of the New York Yankees "Hall of Fame". Mahogany plaque measures 14"x17" with an applied silverplate fatade having a portrait of DiMaggio along with his lifetime statistics/accomplishments. Inscribed, "Joseph Paul DiMaggio from the grateful New York Yankee Fans". The plaque is accompanied by (5) vintage photographs from the DiMaggio collection picturing Joe receiving the plaque from Mickey Mantle at Yankee Stadium. Two of the photos are in full color. The lot also includes a handwritten and signed note to DiMaggio from former Yankees President Mike Burke. The plaque itself remains very clean with some typical light surface scratching to the facade surface.
