| Description: 1977 Joe DiMaggio American League All-Star ring. Presented to DiMaggio as the honorary captain of the American League team for the game played at Yankee Stadium in which the NL defeated the AL by a score of 7-5. Ring is silver with gold overlay; an image of Yankee Stadium with "NY" is on one panel and "DiMaggio 77" is on the other. Top of the ring features an inset blue stone surrounded by "Baseball All-Star" lettering. Balfour hallmark is stamped on the interior ring band; size is 9 1/2. Includes its original Balfour case and exterior box with "DiMaggio" written in ink: NM |
