| Description: 1932 San Francisco Seals team photograph. Rare sepia tone 8"x10" image of the Seals pictured in full uniform posed at Seals Stadium. The players include Vince DiMaggio and Lefty O'Doul. Towards the very end of the 1932 season, shortstop Augie Galan wanted to take a few days off to go to Hawaii on a barnstorming trip. Vince DiMaggio suggested that his brother Joe could fill in for Galan. Joe would play in just three games during the 1932 season which explains why he is not pictured in his own copy of the 1932 team photo. 8"x10" in its original frame: EX-MT |
