| Description: Babe Ruth auto. barnstorming photograph c.1928. Sepia tone 8"x10" promotional photo signed by Ruth in black ink. The photo itself has had some restoration including a repair to a tear which did intersect with the "R" in Ruth. The tear was restored (from the reverse) but is visible on the front as affecting the Ruth signature. As such, the signature rates 7 out of 10 with regard to general appearance. Additionally, there were two areas of loss that were restored to the top left background area and a smaller tear at the bottom right of the image. The photo has been mounted to acid free stock.
