| Description: Rare Bill Klem handwritten and signed letter. Dated May 15, 1940, the handwritten letter was sent to NL President Ford Frick by Klem regarding an incident report from a game played at Brooklyn. The dispute was over a hit ball that possibly struck the umpire but was ruled by Klem to have actually hit the ground. The letter is written in Klem's trademark calligraphic style and signed, "Very Truly Yours W.J. Klem". Signatures rates 9 out of 10.
