| Description: 1938 New York Yankees large format team photograph. Striking 11"x14" sepia tone image in a matte finish of the World Champion 1938 Yankees team. Players are posed in road uniforms and are smiling quite enthusiastically (DiMaggio is laughing). Players include Gehrig, DiMaggio, Dickey, McCarthy, and Rolfe. "World's Champions 1938" is written neatly in period blue fountain pen at the bottom. The image retains outstanding original clarity and contrast with a small crease at both the top and bottom edges.
