| Description: 1888 N173 Marty Sullivan Old Judge Cabinet photograph. Mounted image features Sullivan in a batting pose with Chicagoin the background. Retains its original "Old Judge Cigarettes" gilt advertising on the bottom of the mount. Image has some light surface wear retaining its original contrast. Corners exhibit even wear and the back has a few surface stains with "Burt Kurtz" stamped in red. Kurtz was likely a relative of Del Kurtz who played for the 1887 Greenstockings team (See Lot 1065): EX |
