| Description: Billy Southworth professional model baseball bat c.1921-31. Louisville Slugger 125 model bat measures 35" long and weighs 36.2oz. Bat shows evident usage incl. repaired handle crack, ball/cleat marks, and some checking to the back of the barrel. While Southworth enjoyed a fine 13 year Major League career as a player from 1913-29, he is most remembered as a longtime manager who won over 1000 games primarily with the St. Louis Cardinals.
