| Description: Eddie Collins Jr. Phila. Athletics home jersey c.1942. Cream color flannel shirt with original "A" on front and #14 on the reverse. Goldsmith tag with size 44 flag tag remains inside the collar along with a tattered silver tag. Jersey exhibits evident usage and age wear including some toning and minor moth damage to the #14 on back. Stars and bars uniform patch is missing from the left sleeve (outline faintly visible) and sleeves have been slightly shortened in the period most likely by Collins.
