| Description: Walter Johnson single signed baseball c.1930's. Cream color Horace Partidge & Co. "New England League" ball gracefully signed on a side panel by the 'Big Train' Walter Johnson. Signature remains very bold rating 8/9 out of 10, ball has some typical light surface wear primarily to the opposite panels of the signature. Johnson simply humbled great batsman throughout his 21 year career in which he won 417 games, compiled 3,509 strikeouts, and almost unbelievably ended with a career 2.17 ERA. The offered ball was obtained by a relative of the current owner and was recently discovered in a cedar chest which has so nicely preserved the black ink signature.
