Interior lining features gilt inscription, "Welcome. The Invincible Base Ball Team! In your Memory of Coming To Nippon Yours Dearly Salon -Haru, Tokyo 1934". It was well documented that the U.S. players were treated like royalty while on the Tour and bestowed with numerous gifts such as the offered item.
