| Description: Vintage baseball uniform proposed to the Phila. Athletics for Major League use c.1949-50. High quality flannel shirt and pants with blue pinstriping made by the Pearson Sporting Goods Co. Jersey has white on blue "A" patch and back has oversized white on blue #22 similar in design to the Phillies uniform numbers of the same era. Pearson tagging remains inside collar and a tag has been removed which was most likely the MacGregor tag as Pearson did not want the Athletics to see that they outsourced the manufacture of their uniforms.
