| Description: Rare Louisville Slugger cardboard advertising sign c.1940's. One of the most desirable of the period Louisville Slugger related cardboard advertising display pieces featuring a colorful collage arrangement of the Hall of Fame surrounded by vignette player photographs. Players include Ruth, Cobb, Collins, Sisler, Wagner, Gehrig, and Speaker. Pair of crossed bats have Joe DiMaggio and Cobb markings. The sign retains its original easel back and remains in nearly as issued original condition having only a few light surface wrinkles and minimal border wear. The colors are fresh and vibrant with strong original surface. Very impressive advertising display piece in superb condition grade: NM
