| Description: Significant Hank Aaron professional model bat used to hit his 740th home run. L.Slugger 125 model bat measures 35" long and weighs 33oz. Model number A99 is stamped on knob end along with 44 written in black ink on both ends of the bat. Usage wear is evident including pine tar residue on the handle, ball/stitching markings on the barrel, and beginnings of a crack around the trademark area. Bat has been signed and dated 6/14/75 by both Hank Aaron and Nolan Ryan. Aaron clouted his 740th home run off of Ryan at a game played in Milwaukee on June 14, 1975. One of the most significant and well documented Aaron game bats to come into the marketplace with unimpeachable provenance. In addition, the bat ranks as one of the highest numeral home run bats held in private hands with the added bonus of being hit off of the All-Time strikeout king Nolan Ryan.
