| Description: Rare 1906 player's contract for the Cuban Stars. Issued to Andres Masineira for the 1906 season and signed by Masineira at bottom. Contracts of this era for Negro League teams are virtually non-existent, Cuban Stars were one of the earliest Cuban All-Star contingents to tour the eastern United States playing such teams as the Phila. Giants and Cuban X Giants. Offered contract shows it's age but remains intact laid on lined paper album page, also retains it's original Cuban Stars wax seal. Extremely rare early paper item: VG
