| Description: Scarce Pittsburgh Pirates batting helmet c.1950's. Very rare 'flocked' fiberglass batting helmet with applied gold "P" on front and 'flapless' ear design. Interior retains original American Baseball Cap label with size 7 stampings. "P" on front has some light chipping otherwise the helmet remains in near original condition. One of the rarest types of vintage baseball equipment to acquire from an unimpeachable Major League source.
