| Description: Sports Illustrated Robert Riger, pencil on board from Jan. 19, 1959 issues and Oct. 23, 1961 issue. Multiple illustrations on five boards depicting the struggle of football. Each has multiple players blocking and tackling รป classic Riger. Artists working with Sports Illustrated often created a series of drawings on one board. For purposes of describing these lots, individual drawings on the same board have been counted separately when totalling the number of illustrations in the lot.
