| Description: Rod Carew California Angels road jersey c.1983. Grey knit shirt with orig. team name on front and #29 on both front and back. "Carew" name lettering remains stitched onto back and Angels CA state patch is on left sleeve. Jersey shows light to moderate usage and wash wear retaining it's orig. W.A. Goodman & Sons tag on tail front having "1983" printed in faded red laundry marker. Carew was a lethal hitter during the 1970 and 1980's racking up seven AL batting titles. Originated from former Spring Training Director of the Minn. Twins Bob Willis. Includes LOA from David Bushing/Dan Knoll: EX-EX/MT |
