| Description: Rare Roger Maris professional model baseball bat c. 1961-64. L.Slugger 125 model bat from the defining era in Maris' career during which he eclipsed Babe Ruth's hallowed record of 60 home runs in a season. Bat measures 35" long with A92 stamped on knob end along with a period "9" written in black marker. Bat shows excellent usage wear incl. repaired handle crack and barrel wear. In addition there is a vintage small "1" on knob end which could indicate 1961 as he ordered and used this model of bat in 1961 including the 61st home run.
