| Description: Rare "Fad-A-Way" baseball gum display box with original gumballs c.1912. Hinged lid fiberboard box featuring interior color lithographic label with an image of Christy Mathewson advertising "Fad-A-Way Ball Gum" named after his famous pitch. Box remains incredibly clean for its' age and fragility retaining its' original and near pristine baseball shaped gumballs having various baseball slogans printed on front. Marked American Chicle Co. on lid, has some very minor wear to edges on top of lid and a few corners: EX-MT |
