Description: Vintage red and black stitched baseball attributed to be the last out ball from the 1914 World Series. Ball is of Major League quality with heavy game usage wear and has numerous period black ink notations regarding Harry Gowdy who was regarded as the hero of the 1914 Series for the Miracle Braves. On side panel is notation, "Property of " with an applied paper label having Gowdy's address. Other panels detail the players on the Braves and "...Last Out Ball Presented To Harry Gowdy Hero Of Series" Ball itself has general wear and writing has areas of flaking to ink, originated from the collection of Harry Gowdy: VG-EX
