Description: September 9, 1908 Joe Tinker autographed affidavit. Typed affidavit regarding a disputed play in a game between the Pirates and Cubs where a force out at second base was not rendered valid. This play was not only important in the outcome of the game but would lay the groundwork for the infamous Merkle "Boner" play to come. Signed at bottom, "Joe B. Tinker" , also signed and stamped by the notary public of Cook County, IL. Signature rates 9 out of 10, easily the most authentic Joe Tinker signature extant with interesting historical content.
