Captivating oil on canvas painting of (2) packages of Sweet Caporal cigarettes and tobacco situated on a table top alongside of a stoneware tankard and pipe. Exhibits subtle warmth and color in achieving the essence of trompe-l'oeil style of painting for which Dubreuil was among the finest of American artists of the period incl. Haberle, Peto, and Hartnett.
