2005 Major League Baseball All Star Live Auction

July 12, 2005
TO BE HELD AT John Hancock All Star FanFest at Detroit's Cobo Center

Terms of Sale
1. This is a catalogued auction, and unless otherwise announced by the auctioneer all items will be offered per numbered lot as they are listed in the catalog. An estimated price for each lot is offered in bold type and is to be used as a guideline only as they do not necessarily reflect actual values, nor do they necessarily reflect any minimum or reserve bids. Condition grading is offered only as a convenience to customers.

2. Hunt Auctions, Inc. guarantees, for sixty (60) days, the authenticity of each item in this auction only to the extent of the written description per lot in our catalogue. The description guarantee however, does not extend to the condition grading of any item due to the subjective nature of such evaluations. In regard to autographed materials we advise that interested bidders utilize the color photography in the catalogue to consult with autograph experts of their choice before bidding as we will not accept a return based upon a verbal opinion or rejection of authenticity but rather we will require a written letter of rejection which must include a factual based opinion. We then reserve the right to consult with another respected third party authenticator to settle the dispute if necessary. All announcements on the day of the auction shall take precedent over previous statements either implied or written. Authenticity disputes must include the return of the disputed merchandise and must be executed within sixty (60) days from the date of the auction with no exceptions.

3. A premium of ten (10%) percent will be added to the successful bid price and is payable by the purchaser as part of the total purchase price.

4. The highest bidder acknowledged by the auctioneer will be the purchaser. In the event of any dispute among bidders, or any other issue with respect to the highest bid or the validity of a bid, Hunt Auctions, Inc. has the final discretion and may reoffer and resell any lots or take whatever actions they deem necessary to settle said dispute. In the event of any dispute after the sale Hunt Auctions, Inc. record of final sale shall be conclusive.

5. The auctioneer reserves the right to reject any bid or raise which, in the auctioneer’s opinion, is not commensurate with the value of the lot being offered or which may have a detrimental effect on the lot in question or the auction as a whole.

6. Hunt Auctions, Inc., reserves the right to withdraw any lot at any time prior to the auction and assumes no liability for such withdrawal.

7. Absentee and phone bids will be executed as a convenience to customers, but the auction company will not be held responsible for any failures, or errors or omissions in the execution of such bids. All absentee or phone bids must be submitted within the guidelines of this auction.

8. Title of each lot passes when the auctioneer says “SOLD.” Thereafter any loss by fire, theft, breakage or any other cause is the sole responsibility of the purchaser. If Hunt Auction, Inc. packs or transports the lot, or any portion thereof, it is fully at the risk and responsibility of the purchaser and Hunt Auctions, Inc. shall not be liable for any loss or damage that they, or any of their employees, may cause.

9. Six percent (6%) MI state sales tax is applicable to all purchases. Tax exempt bidders must have a valid sales tax exemption number on file with Hunt Auctions, Inc.

10. Payment in the form of cash, traveler's checks, certified funds or pre-approved checks ONLY. All items purchased must be paid for in full before items are handed over to the purchaser. Hunt Auctions, Inc. reserves the right to hold merchandise until payment is qualified. Hunt Auctions, Inc. reserves the right to collect unpaid past due invoices in any manner including but not limited to charging the bidder’s credit card on file. In case of unpaid past due invoices that are overdue by (45) days or more Hunt Auctions, Inc. will charge a reasonable interest rate based on the prime rate until such payment is received. Should legal action be required to collect unpaid balances the bidder will be responsible for reasonable attorney’s fees and related court costs. In addition, Hunt Auctions, Inc. reserves the right to re-sell any merchandise whose balance due is unpaid after (45) days with the bidder responsible for any losses incurred by Hunt Auctions, Inc.

Credit cards not accepted for auction payment.

BIDDING INSTRUCTIONS

ALL ABSENTEE BIDS AND TELEPHONE ARRANGEMENTS MUST BE MADE PRIOR TO JULY 10TH AT 5:00 P.M. EST.

LIVE BIDDING
Bidders participating live and in person may register upon arrival. If not already on file, tax exempt bidders must provide a valid resale certificate upon registration. To remove items onsite, bidders must pay with cash, traveler's checks, or certified funds. Bidders known to Hunt Auctions, Inc. may pay with a personal check and remove merchandise at the discretion of Hunt Auctions, Inc. Bidders unknown to Hunt Auctions, Inc. who wish to pay with non-guaranteed funds (personal or business check) must provide a letter of credit from their bank prior to the auction.

ABSENTEE BIDDING
Bidders not attending the auction may choose to place ceiling or max bids to be executed by Hunt Auctions, Inc. All bids are held in strict confidence and are executed competitively against other live and absentee bidders and are bid with the intention of securing the lot at the lowest possible amount up to and including the bid amount. For example, if you leave a $1,000.00 bid on a lot and the lot brings $425 at auction, you will be the winning bidder at $425. If several absentee bids are left on a particular lot, the auctioneer will open the bidding one increment above the second highest ceiling bid. For example, if the highest bid left is $500, and the second highest $100, the bidding will open at $125.00.

Absentee bids may be either mailed or faxed to 610-524-0826 using the form provided. To submit bids online through the Hunt Auctions website, go to www.huntauctions.com and click on "Current Live Auction." You may choose to search the catalogue, or view items in lots of 100. To leave an absentee bid, click "place a bid," enter your ceiling bid amount and click "Continue" to place multiple bids per sheet, or click "Go to Bid Sheet" to complete the registration form. It is not possible to bid online during the auction.

All bids will be rounded to the nearest $5.00-$10.00 increment. In the case of tie bids, the first bid placed will be given priority. You will not be notified if you have been outbid via a left ceiling bid.

PHONE BIDDING
Bidders interested in participating live over the telephone with a Hunt Auctions, Inc. representative are encouraged to reserve phone lines early at 610-524-0822. A limited number of lines are available per lot on a first come first serve basis. Live phone bids are available only on lots with a low estimate of $300.00 or higher. Please note that we will not be able to accommodate additional phone bid requests the day of the auction.
BID INCREMENTS
Bidding increments are at the discretion of the auctioneer. Opening bids will be determined based on the absentee bids received prior to the sale (see section on absentee bidding). As a general guideline, bidding will occur in increments of approximately 10%.

LOT QUESTIONS
All absentee/phone bidders are strongly encouraged to solicit further information about specific lots before bidding. Hunt Auctions, Inc. representatives are available to answer questions over the telephone and by email until July 8, 2005. Additional images may be provided upon request via mail, fax, and email up until the Monday before the auction. While we guarantee the authenticity of each item for sixty (60) days, we will not accept returns based on condition due to the subjective nature of such evaluations. Any questions or concerns regarding the condition of specific lots must be addressed prior to the sale.

SHIPPING
Shipping, handling, and insurance for all absentee bid/phone items are the responsibility of the winning bidder. Items are packaged and shipped via UPS Ground by an independent shipper contracted by Hunt Auctions, Inc. Shipment will occur 7-10 days after funds have been received and cleared. Shipping estimates may be provided upon request before the auction.

PAYMENT
Payment is due immediately upon receipt of invoice in the form of cash, traveler's check, money order, personal check, wire transfer, or certified funds. No credit cards accepted. Unless previously known to Hunt Auctions, Inc., personal checks will be held for 10 business days. Any bidder with an outstanding invoice beyond 30 days will have future bidding privileges suspended.
