Lightly toned and clear coated Frick NL baseball signed by 11 players including seven of the original eleven Hall of Fame inductee class of 1939. Signatures include Babe Ruth, Connie Mack, Walter Johnson, Eddie Collins, George Sisler, Frank Frisch, Red Murray, Honus Wagner, Tris Speaker, Duffy Lewis, and signer with first name of Harry who we could not clearly identify. Signatures are bold and dark rating between 8-10 out of 10, ball itself has only minor age wear. Baseball originated from the collection of James Hepburn, Sr. who was the director of ticket sales and stadium ushers for the New York Giants from 1935-1953. Mr. Hepburn was also the founder of the Polo Grounds Glee Club and had access to numerous players and baseball figures during his tenure with the Giants. This baseball was obtained directly by Mr. Hepburn at an Old Timers game played at the Polo Grounds in 1943 and has remained in the Hepburn family since that point. This is one of only a handful of surviving autographed baseballs with seven or more original HOF inductee signatures and rates as very desirable given the signature condition and impeccable provenance. Accompanied by a letter of provenance from James Hepburn, Jr.: Ball: EX, Signatures: EX/MT-NM $10,000.00-$15,000.00 $17,000.00
