Die cut cardboard sign measures 20"x21" with very strong original color picturing the NL rookie of the year (Mays) and the NL RBI leader (Irvin) advertising Chesterfield cigarettes. Sign is missing its original easel back and has some small staple holes at the corner areas. Also has a repaired vertical tear within Irvin's image and some minor inpainting to another area of scratching. Large format 22"x28" original ink illustrative display picturing DiMaggio in several different vignette images surrounded by Yankee Stadium and related images. Text details DiMaggio's excellent start to the 1947 season and its comparison to his 1941 benchmark 56 game hitting streak. Signed at lower right "Walter Sulzbach Yankee Stadium 5/26/47", piece has some vertical fold lines which have some beginnings of separation. Also has a circular stain area at top right and a small area of loss at the right edge. See a Picture of this Item 905 Christy Mathewson Tuxedo tobacco advertising display sign c. 1910-15. Large die cut cardboard display measures 17"x25" and features a color lithographic image of Mathewson advertising Tuxedo tobacco. The surface of the piece has some appropriate age and handling wear including some tiny soiling spots and a degree of surface undulation at the bottom from apparent mositure exposure. Left shoulder area has an indentation and there is some general age toning mostly at the bottom portion. Mathewson was the cream of the league druing the first quarter of the 20th century. His good looks and educated background made him a favorite for product endorsement pieces that are highly sought after by collectors today. Beautifully matted and framed archivally, unlike the more prevalent Mathewson Tuxedo trolley signs this is the first example of this die cut display that we have offered: VG-EX (With note to condition report) ($4,000.00-$6,000.00) $8,000.00

See a Picture of this Item 999 Scarce Louis Lowdermilk 1912 T-207 card. One of the rarest and most desired baseball tobacco card rarities from a private collection not previously offered. Card is well centered with a few light creases mostly at the corners and has a minute "nick" in the hat brim area. Almost unbelievably the back is a rare Cycle advertising back which has some light soiling particularly to the left edge. This is the first example of this tough card that we have offered with note to its rare Cycle back: VG ($750.00-$1,250.00) $1,300.00
