Description: 1961-62 Tommy Heinsohn All-Star Team Selection presentational certificate. Proclamation done on heavy stock reads in part, "The Sporting News congratulates Tom Heinsohn on his selection to the annual National Basketball Association All-Star Team…". It has been secretarially signed at lower right by J.G. Taylor Spink and comes housed in its original presentation style gilt lettered red leather folio. Certificate has a pair of tape stains at top edge (where the included insert listing team members was affixed). The folio cover has separated from the back half along the bound edge and has some other discoloration/wear. The third of (6) total NBA All-Star Game appearances Heinsohn would make.
