Proclamation done on heavy stock reads in part, "The Sporting News congratulates Tom Heinsohn on his selection to the annual National Basketball Association All-Star Team…" and the year "March 1961" is written at lower left. It has been secretarially signed at lower right by J.G. Taylor Spink and comes housed in its original presentation style gilt lettered red leather folio. Light toning/wear and the folio cover has separated from the back half along the bound edge. The second of (6) total NBA All-Star Game appearances Heinsohn would make.
