Description: Lot of (2) early basketballs c.1920s-40s. Pair of uncommonly early basketballs includes and canvas and leather ball with leather lace that has a pair of partially visible stamped on marks that can not be deciphered. Displays very nicely with some mild wear and toning/discoloration visible. Partially repaired (likely with glue and thread) split along one seam presumably allowed for it to be stuffed to maintain shape; later period laced leather ball has no visible markings. Toned with wear evident throughout including cracking to the leather. There is an air hole however the valve is not present and it presumed that the ball has been stuffed or rebladdered to maintain shape: VG-EXEstimated Price Range: ($500-$750)
