Description:Lot of (12) early mostly sports related meerschaum pipes and partial pipes/bowls. Nice assortment of early pipes which were crafted from meerschaum. Includes (4) pieces which have a bowl that is carved to resemble a man wearing hat. These could represent a generic baseball player of the period (although 1 is most certainly a soldier). One is a full pipe, another has partial stem, and the last (2) are heads which would have been affixed to a wooden stem. Other pieces include (3) full or nearly full pipes with (1) showing a cricket scene and the other (2) appear to show soccer. Also includes (3) football related pieces (two just the bowl with stems cracked off, the other having a partial stem) and (2) soccer with partial stems.
