Description: Very sharp Spalding "Wagon-Tongue" ring decorated baseball bat c.1890-1900. Fine quality 34.5" long bat with original Spalding stenciled insignia at centerbrand and "Wagon-Tongue" titling. Handle is factory scored for grip. Black ring decoration on the barrel end has "Strike This Way" gilt lettered on opposite sides however this may have been touched up (portions illuminate under a black light, others do not). Uncracked with just some light scattered surface wear.
