Description: Rare Goldsmith "Princeton" style football helmet c.1920-30s. Very high quality two toned leather helmet has a scalloped edge sewn on leather top in the manner of the Princeton style of helmet made popular in the 1900s. Interior padding remains intact and the helmet retains its original elastic chin strapping. Stamped by Goldsmith on the back along with model "PH". Helmet is slightly on the smaller size indicative of use by youth or collegiate level player.
