Description: Early 1930s Spalding Official Intercollegiate Football in original box. Original box has 95% intact end cap label which reads "Spalding Official Intercollegiate Foot Ball." Model "J5V" is stamped in the appropriate area and a small piece of paper with the word "Lined" typed on is affixed. Box shows some wear with the most notably effected area being along the bottom edge (and below) of the label where there is some chipping/tears. The original football is inside with well defined matching marks including "J5-V" model number. It appears unused but shows some light age related wear and it has a pair of period notations/signatures (one of which appears to be dated 1933). It is a rare model which has an exterior air valve: Ball EX-EX/MT, Box GDEstimated Price Range: ($400-$600)
