Presentational crystal bowl has "Farewell To Sport, Presented To Walter Payton, February 4th 1989, By The Dapper Dan Club And Waterford Wedgewood USA." The piece stands 9.25" tall and measures just over 9" across at the widest point. The Award was intended to honor "the retiring athlete or coach who best exemplified the ideals of competitive excellence and community service." One small chip has little effect on overall eye appeal. Unmarked but by nature of Waterford having been involved in the creation of the piece it can be presumed it is Waterford Crystal.
