Description: 1988 Walter Payton "National Black College Alumni Hall of Fame" award. Presentational piece is comprised of an 4.25"x10" wooden base which supports a pane of glass which has an etched "Hall of Fame" design. A metal placard on the front reads, "The National Black College Alumni Hall of Fame, 1988 Inductee, Walter J. Payton, Athletics." Founded in 1986, the organization has since that time sought to ensure the stability, strength, and excellence of the nation's historically black colleges and universities. Mild wear to base which has a few scuffs/scrapes. Includes letter of provenance from the Payton Family: EXEstimated Price Range: ($750-$1,000)
