Description: 1985 Walter Payton NFC Offensive Player of the Year Award. Highly regarded presentational piece has been bestowed each year since 1969 with recipients including some of the greatest names in football history. Composite figural with bronze surface incorporates a pair of players in action displayed on pedestal base. Engraved brass placard at base front reads "1985 Kansas City Committee of 101 Walter Payton Chicago Bears National Football Conference Offensive Player of the Year" Exceptional display value with some minor surface scratching having artist initials "JW" etched onto platform. Lower portion of one ankle/foot has been professionally restored with small chip restoration to ankle area of other leg, 13" tall.
