Description: Rare 1869 "The Red Stockings" sheet music. Important early piece of sheet music is regarded as one of the premier display pieces from baseball's formative era. The beautifully illustrated cover has vignette images which ring a likeness of Asa Brainard pitching with additional subjects including Harry Wright, George Wright, and Cal McVey. Total of (3) pages include the front cover, back cover, and (1) interior page (unknown if complete) with fine eye appeal despite wear to the corners/edges including chipping, small tears, and some surface loss. The central illustrated portion of the front is all but unaffected by any of the noted flaws (however a tear from the right edge does reach the area just above McVey's head).
