Sepia tone 8"x10" portrait image of a young Lou Gehrig taken during his rookie season of 1926. The photo has some edge creasing and a few areas of period photo masking ink. Back has pencil identifications along with May 1939 publishing date likely in relation to his final game played and possibly using this rookie file image as reference to his first season.
