Description: Duffy Lewis professional model baseball bat c.1920s. Rare bat from a member of the Boston Red Sox "Million Dollar Outfield" trio of Lewis, Tris Speaker, and Harry Hooper. Louisville Slugger 125 model bat measures 35" long and weighs 33.8oz. Bat exhibits very fine use including ball marks, stitching impressions, repaired handle crack, and pine tar residue. Manufacturer stampings and Lewis' facsimile signature stamp present nicely with light wear. Please note: the labeling period indicates manufacture in the 1922-27 time frame, Lewis retired in 1921.
