Description: Rare baseball figural cast iron andirons c.1909. Seldom offered set of fireplace andirons dating to the 1909 era retain their original surface with some mild general age and usage related wear. Each stands approx. 19.5" tall with a backstand that extends depth of the pieces to around 17" when displayed. The backs are period however it is unknown if they are the originals issued with this set. Among the more coveted folk art baseball related items and one of only a few original sets that we have handled: EXEstimated Price Range: ($2,500-$3,500)
