Description: Mammoth May 20, 1905 Pittsburgh Pirates vs. New York Giants panoramic photograph by George Lawrence. Magnificent large format photograph taken from a deep right field vantage showing game action in the Polo Grounds. Captioned within at lower right corner and marked "1905...Geo. R. Lawrence." Mounted to linen with scattered toning/discoloration and wear that primarily effects the corners and/or edges. The most notable flaw is a puncture/tear near the center which can clearly be seen however was largely reversed when the piece was backed.
