Description: 1872 Boston Red Stockings vs. Philadelphia Athletics scorecard. Rare original scorecard is printed on both sides of heavy stock 3.5"x5.5" card and scored neatly in pencil. The 1872 season was the second in existence for the National Association of Professional Base Ball Players and while the game was in its formative years some of baseball's most important early stars are reflected in the pre-printed lineups. Included in the Boston lineup are George and Harry Wright, Al Spalding, and Ross Barnes. Philadelphia was led by Cap Anson and A.J. Reach. In fine overall condition with a touch of light wear: EX
