Red and black stitched Spalding J.Heydler Official National League baseball has been autographed by (19) members of the vaunted 1927 Yankees team including Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig, Herb Pennock, Mark Koenig, Julian Wera, Joe Giard, Pat Collins, Dutch Ruether, Bob Meusel, George Pipgras, Myles Thomas, Mike Gazella, Ben Paschal, Urban Shocker, Myril Hoag, Bob Shawkey, Art Fletcher, Joe Dugan, and John Grabowski. Fountain pen signatures rate 5/6 to 7/8 out of 10. The ball has toned throughout with some additional scattered wear and soiling Quite possibly autographed during the World Series itself given the medium of a National League baseball.
