Description: Lou Gehrig single signed baseball c.late 1920s. Red and blue stitched "Double-Duty Official League" baseball has been signed "Lou Gehrig" on the side panel. Fountain pen signature rates 8 out of 10 and the ball displays mild even toning with a few nearly incidental scattered flaws. An abrasion to the panel opposite which is signed by Gehrig suggests possible removal of handwriting or perhaps another signature. This has no effect on eye appeal when viewing the signature.
