Description: Napoleon Lajoie professional model baseball bat c.1916-22. Louisville Slugger 125 model bat (dash-dot-dash centerbrand) with a bold and well pronounced Lajoie facsimile signature in the barrel measures 35" long and weighs 35.7oz. Strong usage wear is evident throughout with a handle crack and small (2.25") chip missing from the back of the barrel. There are numerous ball and cleat marks visible along with mild grain swelling due to repeated contact. Tape has been removed from the handle and there is a letter "D" carved in the knob.
