Description: Joe Theismann Notre Dame helmet c.1969-71 Wilson model F2000 helmet finished in classic Notre Dame gold color has a vintage "Theisman" name label affixed inside. Exceptional usage wear is evident throughout with scuffs and chipping to both the upper and underlying surfaces. Interior padding is fully intact. The helmet was clearly used for an extended period of time and some of the use characteristics compare favorably to images of Theismann which were taken in the period. Included are (3) 8"x10" photos of Theismann with Notre Dame (2 autographed, marker rating 8 to 8/9 out of 10), 1969 and 70 Notre Dame yearbooks, and LOA from Hunt Auctions: EXEstimated Price Range: ($4,000-$6,000)
