Description: 1982 Joe Theismann "NFL Man Of The Year" Award. Important figural trophy as presented to Theismann whom lead Washington to the first Redskins Championship in (40) years with a win over Miami in Super Bowl XVII. The piece weighs (47) pounds and stands 20" tall featuring a fine bronze casting by noted sculptor Daniel Schwartz. Affixed at front of the 6.5" square base is an engraved placard which reads, "Joe Theismann, NFL Man Of The Year, 1982." A hint of light wear is mentioned largely for accuracy.
