Description: Fine 1962 Billy Pierce San Francisco Giants professional model home uniform with World Series attribution. Cream colored flannel jersey with "Giants" team name lettered across the front has number "19" on back. "Billy Pierce" embroidered strip tag appears in the collar and an additional "1962" year tag is on front tail. Wilson manufacturer's tag above notes size, "44." Matching pants, likewise by Wilson (size 36), have "B Pierce" and "1962" embroidered strip tags in the waistband. In immaculate overall condition with a touch of light evident usage and wash wear. Retained by Pierce following the 1962 World Series and it compares favorably with the jersey he is shown wearing in an included press photo taken just prior to game (6) with opposing pitcher Whitey Ford.
