Description: Large lot of approx. (500) c.1940s-70s photographs from the Pierce Collection. Large lot of photography with the bulk dating to the 1950s and 60s and small portion as early as the 1940s. Majority show Pierce while with the White Sox (some in street clothes) and some from earlier while with the Buffalo Bisons or Detroit Tigers. There are a good number which include notable teammates or players whom Pierce did not play with but were in the League at the time. Mix of press/wire photos, team issues, and other types with average piece in the 6ex8e to 8ex10e range and some larger. Varying degrees of mostly light wear throughout.
