Description: July 25, 1987 Billy Pierce Chicago White Sox jersey number retirement presentational display. Important large format framed display (31"x39") as presented by the Chicago White Sox to Pierce during the ceremony held in his honor as the team retired his famed number "19." Pierce spent (13) seasons as a mainstay in the White Sox pitching rotation, winning a total of (186) games during that time. He was twice named the Sporting News Pitcher of The Year and made (7) All-Star Game appearances. He remains one of just (11) players whom the White Sox have paid tribute to in this lasting fashion.
